Weirdly limited palette
How about cadmium orange, cobalt blue, black and white?
After getting all our stuff set up and beginning to work we experienced a flash flood from a broken pipe and had to quickly evacuate the room so this was painted from life in less than two hours.
Can't avoid the greenish tones with only these paints to choose from and the value range is limited, but here is the result!
I found myself very frustrated and wishing for a red!

Oil on gessoed cardboard
This is a study from life which took less than 2 hours using only white, black and burnt sienna. It is an exercise using an extremely limited palette.

A Place for Quick Sketches and Studies
I enjoy paging through sketchbooks belonging to other artists and thought it would be good to have a place to put my quick sketches, studies and ideas!
